The property dates back to the XVI century and it has been in the family since five generations. As a result of various successions it belonged to the Bardi´s a feudal and noble family of bankers relatives of the Medici´s, to then return to the Vespucci´s – descendant of the great Amerigo until 1820. That year the house was sold for 5007 shields to the Olivieri family who in 1858 ceded it to the Malenotti´s. This is when Attilio Colacicchi married Maria Malenotti in the early 1900s and the Villa was inherited by our family.

Since then, the historic estate has preserved its original wonderful characteristics and authentic Tuscan charm, whilst undergoing a complete renovation and careful restoration phase considering all modern comforts and facilities.
